Impeccably clean and the staff was competent. Recently refurbished units with lovely view, comfy bed, for instance.

The unbelievably good and ideal location was very close to Green Market. The room we booked was great-sized and newly decorated with bedrooms and large TV and lovely view...
Expected that there would be view, but we didn't find it.

Perfectly clean hotel and nice restaurant. Central location, lovely place for discovering Carlisle. Old-fashioned venue in a shopping area of Carlisle. A multi-channel television, ironing facilities and a writing desk available in the deluxe room. Attentive staff, very good stay.

Finding the car park caused a headache but apart from that it was good to be in the middle of town. Breakfast was fine. Didn't have dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. Perhaps a bit warm.
It was fine.

Perfect for a Solo Adventure
The staff were helpful, especially when I got lost trying to find the car park. It took me forever to navigate the one-way system, but Amie from the reception jumped in my car and guided me like a pro.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but worth every penny.

It was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast plentiful and the location central. P. S. Younger guests won't like it. The clientele is rather of retirement age.
The hotel is getting a bit old and could use some modernization in the decor.
